Enter the table you wish to unlock. In the Order screen tap [Cmd]and select [Unlock Table] on the command list. Note that you should only do this if you are unable to access a table that is not being held by a fixed POS station or another handheld user.
The following suggestions are in the scenario if a single iPod has lost network connectivity:
Scenario: You enter an order and Send it to the preparation areas. Due to a network or some other error the order is not recorded on the file server. This error situation is confirmed by viewing the order at a fixed POS station.
This command allows you to retrieve the backup order from the Write-On iPod’s memory. The backup copy of the order should only be retrieved in situations where the order on the system is inexistent or incomplete. Typically an Alert Message will appear on the Write-On device when an order has been dropped. You may recover the order by first opening the order, tap [Cmd] and choose the Recover Order option. The backup copy is displayed on the screen for review. Buttons allow you to load the order or cancel the operation. You must have a security level of 5 or greater to execute this command.
Note that recovering a table from the archive will overwrite the existing information for the table on the fileserver (rmserver).
